Hybrid for sale...cheap! SOLD!

Post by Bookbear » Mon Dec 04, 2006 4:22 pm

I had hopes that the Hybrid would be my 'back-up' mask for when I had a heavy cold (I use a Breeze for everyday), but I cannot get a usable seal with my beard, and it does not seem to like my apap (made by The Company That Shall Remain Nameless But Begins With An 'R' And Ends With A 'D')... the vent rate even without leaks seems to be more than the machine is equipped to compensate for. So, I have this one for sale. Several caveats:

1. This is a used unit... it has been used three nights by me (part of each night only)
2. It was purchased used (two nights only, so total use of 5 nights)
3. The chin flap of the Large cushion has been removed in an attempt to get a better seal with my beard
4. If you use a cpap by The Company That Shall Remain etc., this is NOT the mask for you

This will come to you in the original package, with all the original materials, including three cushions (Small and Medium intact with chin flap, Large w/o), three sets of nasal pillows (Small, Medium, and Large), zippered nylon travel case, manual, headgear, cleaning and fitting DVD, AND, at no additional cost to you the consumer, a pair of Pad-A-Cheeks for the headgear!

Such a deal!
$65 and this includes postage!

PM me if interested.

Bookbear, I heard they fixed that. Why don't you call Innomed for a replacement for the new part. They are very nice over there.
I was going to do that but we taped up a hole instead. It's faster.

Thanks for the heads-up, Never. However, it leaks like a sieve with my beard. So, even with the vent rate fixed, it would still be problematic.
