Yes, we are all different, but NO ONE is special, not even the few who think they are. Same ole, same ole here... never ends.
How high is an AHI of 102.0 really?

No problem in wondering upon getting a new diagnosis where you fit in the big picture. Seems a natural thing to me. Or maybe we just have a similar personality bent in that aspect.
When told my eye pressures were in their 40s, I remember asking if it was common for pressures to go that high. And wondering how my periodic limb movements compared to others afflicted with the disorder. And wondering what percentage of persons with a toxic chemical exposure develop cancer. Granted, of greater value is how we do with treatment. I'd dare say that few of us will often revisit our eyesight numbers once we become 20/20 with glasses or surgery. The thing about comparing OSA data is the variables make it a deceptive comparison. The highest count may not have the lowest desat. Those with a signficantly lower count may have events with longer duration thus bigger desats. But you can glory, if so inclined) in that you really do have a quite high AHI. What any one doctor has seen in their practice seems contingent on their clientele (luck of the draw) and experience in the industry.
