Anti bacteria cpap filter? What?

They're not gimmicks. They do filter out stuff that get past even the hypoallergenic filters in the machine.

I use one because it seems to help with my allergies.

If your machine doens't have a setting for an AB filter (mine does) then you either have to guess, or hook up a manometer (under 30$ on ebay) at how much pressure to raise the settings on the machine.

I guess I'll up 1 level each night. How do I find the AB filter option in my 50 series pr system one? If it doesn't have one does the pr system 60 series have a AB thing?

The filters tend to clog up faster than the regular filters, meaning you will need to change them or keep raising the pressure to make up for the restriction. Pleasant Dreams! Jim

I don't know... check your clinical manual. the Resmed VPAP series has AB filter settings, and I think the airsense10 machines as well as aircurves have them.

As far as Respironics? I don't know.
