Newbie here....I was originally set up with a machine through insurance but returned it once I found out my insurance wouldn't cover it until my deductible was met ($2000). Prior to returning, I took a photo of the settings knowing I may have to set it up myself once I purchased one on my own. Today I purchase a gently used machine and I was duplicating my original settings however I noticed the original machine set up has Pressure Relief set to On under tube temp. The gently used machine I purchased doesn't have that option. I've tried accessing the clinical settings but I'm unable to find that option. Any suggestions? Being new to this, I don't really know if I need to be concerned about that option not being there.
Thank you,
Tricia
Airsense 10 for her Pressure Relief Setting
Re: Airsense 10 for her Pressure Relief Setting
Exhale relief is called EPR and it's on the AirSense 10 for Her machine for sure. I have that machine and I use EPR.
You need to go into the clinical menu setup area.

I thought that there was a setting to turn it so patient can have access to it without having to go into the clinical menu area but I just looked at my AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her and there wasn't.
I had to go into the clinical setup menu area to turn it on and set the desired choice.
I have no idea how or why it showed up under the hose temp on your other machine.

If I understand what has been written thus far, I think that "Essentials Plus" must have been selected through the clinical menu in order for users to be able to control the EPR function from the "My Options" screen.Pugsy wrote:Exhale relief is called EPR and it's on the AirSense 10 for Her machine for sure. I have Essentials set to Plus....and in My Options screen the only thing I see is Pressure Relief (it is under humidity I think) but it's an On/OFF thing and no mention as to EPR setting 1, 2 or 3.
So to actually set EPR I have to go into the clinical menu.
I just now looked...so there is a Pressure Relief setting for turning it on/off but not for adjusting the setting.
Never noticed it was there until now though...I always just go into the setup menu area for any changing of anything anyway.

Re: Airsense 10 for her Pressure Relief Setting
Thank you so much for the help, changing it to the Essentials Plus worked! I'm wasn't sure if the setting would affect me. I was more worried they sold me an really old or somehow different model. Now I just have to hope it helps!
