Why would anyone want to expose him/herself to even the possibility of the dangers of BPA, if it could be avoided ?
I'm sure we all know that some businesses will sadly defend their positions and practices in the interest of profits, even if those positions and practices can be harmful to those who are served by the business. Think of big tobacco decades ago....and there are more recent examples. It doesn't seem right that business interests can sometimes influence oversight organizations that are intended to regulate an industry or protect the public, but it happens!
Unfortunately, it sometimes takes decades to prove that something is dangerous enough that it needs to be avoided or eliminated, so why not push for change when BPA is already known to be dangerous at some level?
Yes, we will all die eventually and from something, but I prefer to delay my death as long as possible and will avoid known risks where I can. I want to see my young kids grow up, and I want to be Grandma some day, so I will sign that petition any day!
Be sure to include your bank routing numbers. Jim

I believe you have a much greater exposure getting into an automobile with a plastic interior that has been sitting in the sun than using your xPAP machine...

Back in the 70's when we detailed a nice used car, we sprayed them with a Prestone aerosol, called New Car Smell. it renewed that plastic gassing smell. I wondered how many owners we killed, I don't think many, I enhaled most of it. Jim
