ResScan reports now won't print
I've been using ResScan for six months without a serious problem. I down load last night's data to my lap top and to my desktop (for backup) each morning. This week I wanted to print a ResScan Report for my doctor visit today. While viewing Detailed Graphs on my desktop, I clicked on Report, then on the last session, then OK. The message "Creating report" came up as usual, but then the area where I should see the report was blank. I waited several minutes, still blank.
I then went to the laptop and brought up the report as usual. Then I printed it to my network's laser printer without a problem.
What should I do to the desktop so it will print reports as it used to do?
Also, I've noticed recently when displaying ResScan graphs on the laptop the time strip at the top of the graphs is off to the right about 45 minutes. Putting the cursor on data points shows the correct time of the events, and looking at the same data on the desktop, the time strip is correct. It is not earth shattering, but makes it difficult to correlate real time to the graphs and to correlate PulseOx data. It is not related to DST, because the error existed before then. Suggests on how to correct the time strip?

Re: ResScan reports now won't print
Do both the laptop and the desktop have the same ResScan version on them? Which version?
I don't know what is going on with ResScan time clock on the desktop. Assuming that it's clock is correct 45 minutes is a weird number to be off.
I think I would be probably reinstalling the ResScan on the desktop.
Version 4.2 is the latest (and greatest, cough, cough) you can read about it in UncleBob's signature line.

Re: ResScan reports now won't print
I'm using ResScan Version 03.16.018 on both computers. I'll get the later one and load it on the desktop and see what happens.

Re: ResScan reports now won't print
I downloaded and installed the 4.2 version. Installation worked okay. But it still shows a blank screen when trying to print a report. I thought maybe it did not recognize my printer so I looked for a place where ResScan would ask about the printer, but could not find anything like that. Not being able to print a report is a real shortcoming. <sigh>Pugsy wrote: I think I would be probably reinstalling the ResScan on the desktop.

Re: ResScan reports now won't print
I don't even own a printer so I am no help with ResScan printing of reports.
Can you not generate a report and save it as a pdf document and then print from there?
Maybe someone with more ResScan experience could offer some ideas. I don't really use ResScan all that much.

Have you opened the Windows Control Panel and checked your Printer setup?wardmiller wrote:

Are you able to print from other programs?

Yep, nothing has changed in the Printer setup. I can print from other programs okay. Just can't print from ResScan any more. Really has me stumped.NateS wrote:Have you opened the Windows Control Panel and checked your Printer setup?

If nothing else works. Save it as a PDF file and print that.

Re: ResScan reports now won't print
Bobby, while viewing the Detail data, I click on Report. Then Select Data, OK. I get the small screen saying "Creating the Report" and the bar starts filling from left to right. Then that small screen disappears, leaving a blank where the reports should be. There is no report to save or print. Previously, at that point the report would appear and I could page through it, save it, or print it.Bobby269 wrote:If nothing else works. Save it as a PDF file and print that.

What do you have selected by checkmark in the "Select Data" mini-window before you click OK?wardmiller wrote:Bobby, while viewing the Detail data, I click on Report. Then Select Data, OK. Re: ResScan reports now won't print
There is only one session displayed in the Report mini-window. I've tried highlighting that session, then Create Report. I've tried with All checked and without it checked. And without the session highlighted. Each time it it brings up the small Creating Report window and begins filling in the progress bar. When the bar is about half full, those windows vanish and the window where the report used to appear is then blank. It still works fine on the laptop with version 3.1 and worked on this tabletop, until only the Report function stopped working last week. When I loaded the Version 4.2, the report feature still did not work.NateS wrote:What do you have selected by checkmark in the "Select Data" mini-window before you click OK?wardmiller wrote:Bobby, while viewing the Detail data, I click on Report.
