When it comes to humidity, the laws of physics rule. Air can only hold so much moisture at a given temperature, as the temp goes down, saturated air can hold less water vapor suspended.

To get more moisture requires a higher water temp, to keep it suspended a higher air temp. Lower temp, results in less moisture suspended.

Odd's are you need more moisture, because you are using a nasal mask, and are mouthbreathing, causing your mouth to dry out, if you don't get lots of added moisture. A Full Face mask, cuts down on the need for excessive moisture to be added, so the temp can be lowered, resulting in cooler air. I also keep the room air very cool 64 degree is ideal for me.

Also mouthbreathing is a major cause of XPAP treatment not working well, you need the software to track your leaks, so you can control the problem. Jim
