Re: OT:Defective frog--DCIS STAGE 0 --CURABLE
I survived the MRI.
I have a red mark on my lower chest approximately the shape of Texas.

WHOA! I was conscious at all times, and that machine is close.
No room for funny stuff.
I think we are still platonic!

*lols* there's not a lot of spare room in there...chunkyfrog wrote:WHOA! I was conscious at all times, and that machine is close.

which makes me wonder a bit about that MRI floating around of a couple having sex in there... first time that scientists ever saw how things looked inside the body during intercourse...
but, back to the point, how did you manage to get a vaguely texas shaped red mark?

Re: OT:Defective frog--DCIS STAGE 0 --CURABLE
The images are collected in the prone position, with the "mammary accessories" hanging through rectangular holes in the platform.
Although covered with a softish "padded" material, the surface is not exceedingly so.
My weight was resting on this area. --For the better part of an hour.
A couple images had to be redone, as my breathing moved me too much for a clear picture.
I hinted at a back rub afterward, but was not accommodated.

Bullfrog is always willing.
He has already volunteered to wash my hair when my arms can not go up that far.

Re: OT:Defective frog--DCIS STAGE 0 --CURABLE
UPDATE: The PA says my MRI showed my right ta-ta is "clean as a whistle", and my armpits look the same--no swollen nodes.
Chances are I have already beat it! The surgery will be the firewall against future or very tiny invaders.
Looking forward to new "headlights", and meeting more wonderful nurses!
Did I ever mention I am a huge fan of nurses in general?

Normally, I'm a worry wart; without you nice folks to talk to, I'd probably be a blob of nerves.
Thank you, especially to those who have already "been there",
for reassurances I can hold on to when it gets dark inside my froggy brain.

Re: OT:Defective frog--Surgery on 5/8/15
Shameless self-bump.
I am feeling the stress; I have tiny blisters deep under the skin on the sides of several fingers.
Only strong cortisone stops the itching. Nothing prevents the sloughing off of multiple layers of damaged skin.
This hasn't happened since I was working and the mean boss was still around.
Anybody experience this? I feel it is the fear breaking through my carefully crafted mental defenses.
Messed up hands, well, fine!

chunkyfrog,
Can't imagine what you're going through. The stress is understandable. Hope your little green fingers don't slough off entirely.
Sending prayers and {{{{hugs}}}} your way.
