I'm considering switching to a smaller CPAP machine. I like the humidification in my System One machine. But traveling is frustrating. It's too big!
Also, will be tent camping for two weeks this summer. Considering a machine that can run on a battery.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks!

The 2 week tent camping thing....will you have any power anywhere that could be used to recharge a battery?
Can you comfortably go without the humidifier and not have your nose give you fits?

Yes, I think I will be able to recharge batteries. There are places where I can plug in. And we are considering getting a small, quiet generator. I think since it will be August, I won't need a humidifier.
Last time we camped, I didn't use a cpap at all. I now realize my quality of sleep really suffers without the cpap. Plus the snoring might wake the bears.
I travel a LOT! For work. I'm in hotels more than at home. I am sick of transporting my big machine back and forth. If I could leave a smaller machine (with humidifier) in my suitcase, then the frequent trips would be easier. I am trying to figure out how to leave a suitcase packed with duplicate items. I could leave it at my "away" office and then traveling would be easier. I could leave my System One sitting on my bedside table at home.
Also, I don't use the ramp feature anymore. And I don't use the auto cpap functionality. So a basic cpap to blow air up my nose is all I really need! Maybe I need two.. one rechargeable with no humidifier for camping and one portable with humidifier for traveling.
