Depends on who you ask. I just got my P10 earlier this month but I plan to replace at the same rate I did with my SwiftFX, which was every 1-3 months.

Nasal pillow life is going to vary a lot between people. I used my first set of P10 nasal pillows from mid Jan 2014 to mid October 2014 when I finally retired it because I thought they were leaking too much but come to find out it was the headgear that was really causing the leaks that needed to be retired because the leaks were still present even with the new pillows until I changed the headgear.
But then I also got months and months of life out of any other nasal pillow mask I have used over the years...including the Tap Pap and the Swift FX.

I'm finding about every 2-3 months. Look for little "cracks" around the opening that fits inside your nose. You can prolong their life by weekly nose hair trimming and like Pugsy said, wash your headgear in HOT water every week to restore flexibility but I find the headgear to last not much more than 6 months. You can buy just the strap cheaper too - about $25.

Watch where you buy your headgear. Choose a reputable Company like Cpap.com. I purchased two in the last 2 months that barely lasted a month. They were purchased on E Bay. I am trying another set, but this time it will come from Cpap.com.

I've been using both pillows and headgear for 7 months without any increased leaks.

I Just replaced my whole Airfit® P10 mask after 10 months of nightly use, all of it with the same pillows. My leak rates had been creeping up slowly over the last couple of months, reaching 5-6L/min. I'm pretty sure the issue was the headgear, which was no longer rebounding with a quick wash like it had. Called my DME and discovered that my new insurance will cover masks, so I had them ship one out. Used the mask for the last two days, and my leaks have dropped back to a consistent 0.0 L/min.

I don't know what schedule my insurance company allows, but I think that I can easily get 6 months out of a new P10 mask without any compromise in my therapy.

I was getting 2-3 months, but I signed up for auto purchase from my DME and now I get a new one every month and insurance covers almost all of it so I'm happy.

I'm actually thinking about signing up for automatic shipments at least for a while to build up a back stock of masks in case something changes with my insurance. If they will pay for one a month, then in a year's time I'll have a supply of masks to last me five years!

Just got another month's supply: two pillows and two paper filters for $12 shipped after insurance... you could stock your CPAP pantry pretty quickly.

I told them I only wanted the pillows and filters on automatic, and I got backups of the other stuff (headgear, humidifier tank, heated hose) already. Righteous DME, nice to deal with.

Hi,

Am going on nearly eight months on AirFit P10, with both the nasal pillows and the headgear still near-new. No "major" leaks if properly positioned. I do have replacement nasal pillows and a new P10 if need be.

Happy PAPping!

I find I benefit from new nasal pillows after 3-4 weeks max. Luckily, my insurance pays for 2 per month. Just thought i'd mention it, we may not all obtain these long usages.
