Puzzle: Events/Hr., AHI, Total AI, Centrals
Puzzle: Events/Hr., AHI, Total AI, Centrals
Something puzzling. For months the Events/Hr. always equaled the AHI. Always. Then after four months this changed. Last night for example Events/Hr.=0.6 but the AHI=2.3, Total AHI=2.2 and Centrals=2.0. Anyone with ideas on why? I am totally puzzled. Thanks in advance.

Centrals are INCLUDED in the 2.2 AHI figure.jaycee2 wrote:Something puzzling. For months the Events/Hr. always equaled the AHI. Always. Then after four months this changed. Someone earlier with the Airsense noticed when power is removed from the machine either by unplugging the cord or power failure in the house the machine will default when power comes back to "Monthly" average on the sleep report screen. This may or may not be your issue, but make sure your screens sleep report period is set on one day, not monthly average.

TangledHose, yes, this was the problem. I unplugged the machine to move it. And good grief, I hate to admit it but this all has a deja vu quality to it. I think that the "someone" may have been me! I have a sense that this happened due to a power outage. I will write myself a note and leave it on the table with the machine. But I have to remember to read it!TangledHose wrote:Someone earlier with the Airsense noticed when power is removed from the machine either by unplugging the cord or power failure in the house the machine will default when power comes back to "Monthly" average on the sleep report screen. Re: Puzzle: Events/Hr., AHI, Total AI, Centrals
It's funny because when I first heard about this I meant to test it on my machine to verify, but I forgot to get the test done until I read your post this morning. So I un-plugged my machine and sure enough, when I plugged it back in the sleep report period had gone from one day to one month, so it is verified.
Something else I discovered, on my S9 you had to check the sleep report on the screen the next day before noon because afternoon it would reset back to zero for the next 24 hour period. This is not the case on the Airsense, I have looked at it several times as late as 9 pm and it still showed the previous nights data on the screen. I know my date and clock are set properly, it uses military time when setting the clock so no confusion on am vs pm. So that's another small difference between the two machines, not a biggie, but something of interest.

Looks like the leaks also change when the machine is unplugged. The leaks had been registered at 11 L/min but when reset to one-day they decreased to 2 L/min. Must remember that, too.
