CPAP Hose Stabilizer

Post by tremaried » Mon Feb 09, 2015 7:39 am

I have been using a CPAP Hose Stabilizer for a week. I love it! No more moving, jerking hose swiveling here and there. The hose stabilizer keeps the hose "stabilized" below or on the chest. Definitely worth at try. I sleep better with it. Moving from side to side is no longer a planned maneuver. I can move with ease. A must try for sure!

Most think of hose management as something that helps hang the hose up so you don't get tangled. this is more like a strap you put around you to hold the hose in place. Certainly would not work for me.

Also, nothing like a site selling CPAP supplies that has a huge picture of someone NOT using CPAP as their main picture.... Using CPAP without actually using it.

You have to go to their second page to get the real picture. I see why they used the other picture to lure you in. It may be helpful for some but with my hose over the headboard and the extension on my P10 I don't have a problem. Also this is my first time to use Imgur and I just had to see if I could do it.

I think I saw Kim Kardashian wearing one in a recent cell phone commercial. Me thinks a ad troll in among us! Some things are meant for selling and some are meant for using. I think this was designed to be sold only. I can't imagine that I'll ever need a cable wrap that large.

Lets put a request to sleep_quest. He came up with a good short- hose solution using readily available materials. Maybe he can refine this design.

Thanks for the vote of confidence poppi2, I haven't looked but do wonder how much that contraption costs...since I'm not in it for the money mine are being offered for FREE. Plus I'd wager that it is much more comfortable than this product.

I don't know how to link it, but if you go see the "a holiday gift for you" thread, the clip idea suggested there is great. -- jim
