New Mask Liner Available

Post by library lady » Sat Feb 07, 2015 2:15 pm

I received a flyer today for a new mask liner that is on the market. As some of you know, the maker of the Quietus liners went out of business last year. This flyer is for a liner called Silent Night. I'm not in the market for something new as I'm now making my own that have served me well for 6 months or so, but perhaps someone will want to try these:
http://www.silentnighthealth.com. From the flyer, "Economically priced at just $24.95 for a monthly package of four reusable liners." I can't verify the economics of these, as it's cheaper to make my own from a t-shirt that I can buy at Goodwill for $2.00 and use for over 6 months, with lots of t-shirt left to make more from.

I have not looked at the website, but I do know that the company is based in Big Rapids, Michigan. I present this info only in case someone is interested in them.

Now using AirFit F10 mask; Quattro Air is backup mask. RemZzzz mask liners with both.

$25/month isn't chicken feed to a lot of people, though the liner looks pretty nice.

Of course, the Pad a Cheek liners are more economical.
It's good to have different things to try.

Think I was given a sample of that brand. It connects the same way. Did not care for it... It is thicker than the RemZzzzzz brand.

I am also a t-shirt liner maker. Getting near the end of my first t-shirt.

I paid $15- 20 for a pad-a-cheek liner and mine last nearly a year.

IMHO $24 a month is not economical at all

If these are sold at about the same price as Remzzz (which I use) then this new company may give Remzzz a run for the money because when washing and reusing Remzzz, the curling edges that result after washing are a huge PITA. I think CF actually irons them but that's not for me. I also like the idea of the mini-straps on the side of these new liners. I am anxiously awaiting some followup reporting

PS... I tried the T-shirt trick and that is WAY TOO MUCH WORK FOR ME.
PPS... I love the feel of Remzzz because they are made from a super soft pure cotton fabric called 'baby jersey', which I think is much thinner than worn T-shirt material, but hey, I've never put a micrometer on them to test that theory

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
