Need help please

Post by ultratired » Fri Jan 23, 2015 6:09 pm

It doesn't seem to matter which nasal pillow mask I use, I can't seem to keep it from sliding up and off the back of my head. I hate having to sleep with my hair in a ponytail every night to keep the mask strap secured under the tail. It's wrecking my hair plus it's very uncomfortable to sleep on your back with a ponytail.
Does anyone else have this strap slippage problem? Any resolution suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance

What nasal pillow mask are your using?

Man, I wish I had enough hair for a pony tail.

You don't have to use pillow masks...and...the back is the worst position when treating OSA.

With my P10 sometimes I wash and dry the headgear to decrease some of the stretching. I also can't seem to keep the straps separated like they suggest so I wear both together low, just above my ears. They do occassionally slip up and I just push them back down. It really doesn't wake me anymore. I have thought about trying the snap type of hair clips to hold in place but haven't tried it yet.
Sleeping on your back can increase your events, so maybe the ponytail is a blessing in disguise.
