Hi All,
I've been using a FF F&P Simplus mask, size small for a year and it generally works well. However, recently it makes a lot of noise. The noise is caused by condensation from my breath or the humidifier getting in to the little holes in the vent, which I hear as a high pitched squeaky tone that wakes me up. My husband hears it as a noise like a racing car going past. It stops if I wipe the front of the vent with my finger, but within a few minutes it starts again. Taking my mask off and thoroughly drying the inside of the vent with a towel stops the noise for perhaps an hour, but this means I'm getting next to no sleep.
It may just be that it's very cold here at the moment, so more condensation than normal is forming on the inside of the mask, but any suggestions would be appreciated! If it's relevant, I have to use a Pad-a-cheek liner with the mask as the silicone gives me bad rashes, and I have UARS rather than OSA.
Thanks

I had the same problem with mine. I had the humidity too high. Turning it down solved the issue.

Thanks Bbecker. I only have the humidity on 3.5, but will try turning it down.

Yup try turning down the humidity if you can, but if mine starts to hiss or squeak, I wipe it off with either the pillow case or sheet from the outside. I try to clean half the vent holes at a time so the little extra pressure helps blow out the condensation.
