I think it was just a driveby chain pull. The capital L is the giveaway. Just another boared driveby. Our use of thread is more interesting anyway!

Right! I thought Sleeprider turned it in the right direction after all.

I'm confused... can we just talk about fishing some more? <sigh>

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

I have done a lot of fishing but I rarely ever caught anything. We used to go camping for weeks every summer when I was a kid and we would all fish, in all those years I caught a 3 inch trout once.

I went up to northern Quebec Lac Baskatongue once - my friends were hauling in these 2 foot long or more bass right and left of the boat, I just drowned bait all week. At least out on the lake the black flies didn't bite either.

Hard to beat a can or two of Van Camp's Pork and Beans, heated over a wood fire, to take the chill off while waiting for a bite. Jim

It is amazing how good food like that can taste when you are cold, wet, tired and hungry. Beans, fried canned "meat", burnt toast dripping with butter and jam - yummy. And of course fish that someone else caught.

I had my first taste of trout in a restaurant in Norway over the Christmas holidays. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Actually, it tasted pretty good. Not so much the reindeer meat and salmon, though.

I'm actually heading out to do some trout fishing right now - gonna try a tenkara fly rod (google it - it's pretty cool!).

Texas stocks ponds with trout in the winter.

Wish me luck!!

A friend of mine used to take me up into the remote Sierras in California to catch 'native' non-stock trout. We would literally drive for hours to get to some of his secret spots, mostly along super rough dirt roads (he worked for the forest service so he had a key to the locked gates). I never seemed to catch many but we'd always get enough for one evening meal. They were not very big and we'd each eat about three of them along with fried potatoes. As the sun set thru the pines, we'd drink cold Coors while we grilled them over oak wood coals. Man, those were some good fish. They were a little bony, but even tho it was over forty years ago, I'll never forget that sweet wild trout flavor! Sadly, my friend is dead now, but I like to think of him sitting on the bank of one of those whitewater streams fishing and humming some Beatle's tune like he used to.

My reference to catfish was not to the delicious pond-dwellers, but an Internet term, as I was sorely confused.
---(Or was I?)
Of course, the lovely, white meat of those fish that have no scales, is heavenly!

Not confused at all. Right on target. Hence somebody's fishing. And it took off from Sleeprider's initial response to the annoymous OP who didn't leave a post and now is in the black hole. Since Sleeprider no longer wanted to be the first to reply and look like he was the OP. He moved his response down. SO if Offtopic is watching he can see the fun we have had with the thread without replying to the OFF TOPIC. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Oh, and CPAP people ARE lazy -- going through the night lurching from one partial strangulation to the next is hard, hard work. Just sleeping without all of that drama is FAR more boring!

After starting cpap treatment, i gained a heckuva lot more ambition!
I'm still too lazy to fish, though.
