SleepyHead Success!

Post by perchancetodream7 » Tue Dec 30, 2014 12:03 pm

We picked up a card reader at Walmart yesterday and SleepyHead data is finally loaded onto the computer! Very glad about that. The CPAP statistics are for the last 24 days (that's how long I've had the full data machine).
I could really use some help figuring these numbers out. Please let me know if I should just copy and paste the stats in a post, or if there is another way that you view the info. I have another appointment with the sleep doctor this Friday and would love some feedback from this forum before I give her the card. Thanks. ~Susan

Try this link. It has a lot information about SH.

http://sleepyhead.sourceforge.net/wiki/ ... SleepyHead

One last point; If you are running Win8.whatever, be sure to write-protect the SD prior to connecting to the computer.
On the off chance you are running W8, here is a site to help in disabling the problem child.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the link--you are right--there is a LOT of information there. But, that's a good thing.

I checked out all my graphs and data on SleepyHead but, as I said, I have only a very general idea of what I'm looking at.

Please, someone, help me decipher this mess so that I know what I'm saying to the sleep doctor on Friday. I'm so tired and feel like I'm never going to get the correct therapy I need at this point. I still have hope, but it's waning. ~S

Susan, I understand you are wanting help with posting your data right? I haven't tried it yet but maybe others will weigh in later or you might change your post title to ask that specific question. I do know you can in Sleepyhead take a screenshot if you look at the top left of Sleepyhead click View and it will give you the option or the shortcut is F12. Once you have the screenshot you have to use imgur or photobucket to host the image. From imgur you just copy the bbc code line and paste it in the body of your text. Hope this helps.

read through the first post up there in the announcements section, it's pugsy's primer for sleepyhead.

then ask questions about what still confuses you

This does indeed help! Thank you for your tolerance of my ignorance. You are correct in that I should have worded my subject line differently. I defer to being exhausted from reading hours of studies in clinical sleep journals. I appreciate the information and will act on it in the am, or in an hour or two when I get up again.
