ResMed Cpap for sale

Post by lp201det » Mon Dec 01, 2014 12:55 pm

I have a Resmed Cpap machine for sale. I had gastric sleeve surgery done 3 months ago and have lost 80 pounds and no longer have to use the machine. The machine is ResMed S9 auto set, elite, Escape auto, escape, with H5i heated humidifier. That is the description that comes on the book that came with it. It also comes with a S9 SD memory card. I also have a full facemask and all attachments including the black carrying case. The machine works great and the setting is on 16 as I had severe sleep apnea. Im not looking to get rich. Someone make me a fair offer. This machine helped change my life and now I want to pass it on to help someone else. We can use paypal so transaction is safe. Let me know. Thanks

you should post the number on the back of the blower, something like 360XX,
but put the acual numbers that are there .
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

What does it say up by the on/off button?
The manual is a generic manual for all those machine models.

sorry about the listing. By the on off on button it says Escape. A little lower to the bottom right it says EPR. the number on the back is 36001. Is that a good one or a crappy one? I own it out right and I know for everything it was around 2000 when new. That includes mask etc etc. Thanks

the escape, 36001 model is the crappiest of the crappy... sorry. it's the least valuable one made.

Im not sorry lol. It saved me. When I did my sleep study they stopped it after 2 hours. I was stopping breathing every 3 breaths. They said severe sleep apnea started at 30 interuptions a hour. I had 117. They attached me to the machine and I woke up 4 hours later feeling rested and alive. It was like a fog off my brain. That "crappy of the crapiest" was the first step in me getting my life back. It was set on level 16. Worked great for me and maybe there is someone else out there who cant afford whatever it is you have lol. I truly want someone to get it so they can be helped. God Bless.

Since it can not collect any useful data, how do you determine it's not needed? Jim

Along the lines of what "Goofproof" asked.......how do you know?

I'd suggest stashing it away for the future. Some people have various "surgeries" and think they don't need it anymore, only to find out they were wrong. Weight gain can be CAUSED by sleep apnea.......losing the weight may not "cure" the apnea.

I hope you had a sleep study that showed you no longer have sleep apnea because there's no way to know otherwise.

This might be an ok travel or backup machine for someone whose therapy is already stable and on track (meaning they have a machine which provides therapy data). You should post a screenshot of the total RUN hours (not USE hours) for prospective buyers. And you'll need to be ready to accept very little for it. Even now a brand new Escape with humidifier sells for $758. You must have gotten royally screwed by a DME to have paid $2000.

I'm just saying 'sorry' because the resale value of that model is quite low.

It has the S9 card which records data. I dont know all of the specifics. I have been cleared by my doctor to not use it anymore. I sleep great now and wake up rested and no longer have to nap during the day. I guess I got screwed on the price but it was right at 2000 including the tax and full face mask pillow etc etc. That was a year and half ago at The Sleep Store my doctor sent me to. Again it was priceless to me at the time. I have no idea how to take a pic of how many hours etc. When i went back for 6 month check ups they pulled the memory card and downloaded the data. Again Im listing this for someone who needs the machine and maybe cant afford a new one because they lost their insurance or whatever. Basically Im trying to pay it forward. I dont really care what I get for it as it is sitting in the carry case by my bed going to waste. So if someone out there NEEDS help in obtaining a sleep apnea machine let me know. Thanks

The only "data" that would have been on the card is the "hours used". NOTHING MORE.
If you didn't have a follow-up sleep study, your doctor is an idiot or incompetent......or both.
