Resmed Data & CMS50F

Post by srt4geezer » Wed Oct 15, 2014 5:49 pm

Newer CPAP user with Kaiser. I have a System one & started loggin data with Sleepmapper. Super basic info to say the least. Pretty much useless. I can tell you how the mask is fitting & how many hours the machine is turned on. It does give you an AHI number & mine is always under 3. Ok, that's good to know. I do feel a lot better during the day so I'm thinking my therapy is working.

Wanted to be a bit more sure so I bought a Pulse Oximeter. The CMS50F. Obviously SP02 & Heart rate. Can't wait to record some data & see how I'm doing.

Have read a few people using sleepyhead to consolidate their data. I also hear that this version of the CMS doesn't work with sleepyhead. Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks for your input.

so... I too have been sent to sleepmapper. There are actually only 2 more datapoints I'd like to know. 1. the pressure my ADAP is using over the night, and 2. my O2 sats. I've got an oximeter that I'll have to read the setup on for ongoing data....

I know everyone says I should go to sleepyhead but my dme has a modem hooked to the back of my machine for compliance, so I'm not sure how to get at the card I'd need?
does sleep mapper do that anywhere? or how do I get to the data for sleepyhead?

overall my first week has gone very well.

sleepmapper is crap.

the card is under the modem, which just snaps off.

Bringing back this thread to ask a question related to it not wanting to start a new one

I registered for Sleepmapper and transferred some data after about a weeks worth of therapy. It confirmed it had transferred the data but I get a blank. It says "you don't have anything to display" or some such. Yet I called the provider and he said he can see data. I got nothing. Whats up with this?

Also, it appears the transfer must have wiped the card clean. It didn't ask me any option on that. But when I tried to then reinstall the data it said there was nothing on it. So I gave up thinking maybe there was a delay in processing it. But days later, only they can see it. I can't. The provider is no help. He doesn't know why.

Any ideas?
