ID Revealed
Secret Agent's ID Revealed Via Loose Tongue
Tarzana, CA--In a startling development, the CPAP Forum Times has learned from secret sources (NOT Bob Novak) that a member of the CPAPtalk Forum was denied access to a so-called 'workshop' describing a new dental device. The device allegedly helps to avoid snoring AND obstructive sleep apnea with a modified bite-guard similar to the kind used for bruxism. Bruxism is grinding the teeth at night.
The member, who posts under the name "Stillawake," may have had her secret identity revealed and been denied access to a public meeting. If true, this would be a violation of the Access to Public Meetings Act. "Stillawake's" identity may have been revealed due to the loose tongue of a snorer who had not yet tried the apnea device. The device purports to work by restraining the tongue.
Attempts to reach the dentist for comments were unsuccessful. Keep watching the CPAP Forum Times for further developments. We will be watching this issue closely in keeping with our mission to serve the apnea community with the best news there is to print.

Simmer down, birdshell. Someone returned my call yesterday morning, at 10:24, and said the previous evening's "workshop" had been cancelled and that they'll let me know when the next one is scheduled. Of course, that was a while after my last post. I'll report any further developments. (BTW, loved the news story, but you got the possessive pronoun wrong, genderwise: I am all man.)

Stillawake a man
I am sorry, Stillawake. It was unintentional...and won't happen again. It may have been the association with the Bob Novak, Scooter Libby, Karl Rove case where the CIA agent was female (Valerie Plame).
I'm glad that the dentist's office at least called back. However, it was too much fun writing the fake news report. If they hadn't called the follow up would have been more fun, but we'll make do!
Was the meeting cancelled for lack of interest?
