Got my AirFit F10 this afternoon. Here it is beside my Quattro:

Tried it on for about 15 minutes, and had no issue with leaks, and the comfort is much improved over the bulky Quattro. I'll post some stats tomorrow after the first night of usage. Fingers crossed!

Nice! I felt that way about my Quattro Air compared to my clunky regular Quattro

Sleep well!!!

Had an issue with the Pad-A-Cheek from the QFX---The hole around the hose disturbs the air venting --- creating noise. Removed hose and let the Pad-A-Cheek hang freely. When I awoke, I attached the F10 headgear (think it's awesome ) to QFX for a couple of minutes. It really felt good , maybe because I'm so used to it? Will use F10 headgear with the QFX tonight.
So Cokomo, how's it going with the F10?
How would you compare the headgear of the F10 to that of the QFX? Are they interchangeable?

Really like the F10. The headgear is interchangeable with the QFX. Tried the Qfx w the F10 headgear for one night . Worked fine but the back of my neck was sore ...Don't know for sure after only one night. I have since gone back to the F10 and its' headgear and decided I like it much better than the mask (QFX) I had been using for over 2 years. Always use Pad-A-Cheek and because of the really nice dispersed venting system on yhje F10, I had to let the bottom flap of the made for QFX pad, hang loose. Not a big deal but a pad designed specifically will help overall . The new F10 headgear is considerably better than the QFX headgear. The venting is a nice feature also. Overall numbers are very similar. Keeping the F10.

I ordered both masks the day they were announced and I'm on the fence about both. I like the N10 because I can get a good seal with no leaks - even though I have a beard and mustache - but it does put a lot of pressure on my upper lip. I wish it had a gel lining and/or a swivel system to adjust the angle of the mask, in order to cushion or relieve the pressure on the upper lip. Personally, I prefer the design of the Swift FX Nano nasal mask (less frame and hard plastic than the AirFit N10) but, like many others have mentioned, it tends to pull upwards against the bottom of the nose, causing indentations and pain. So while the N10 has much more of a frame than the Nano, it seems to achieve a better fit for me. As for comparisons to the Wisp, I've tried them both and while they look similar, I found the Wisp headgear much more restrictive and it leaked like crazy, unlike the N10 which had a leak of 0.

As for the AirFit F10 full-face mask, it's fairly comfortable (other than some slightly painful pressure on my right cheek) and less cumbersome than other full face masks I've tried (Mirage Quattro), but I can't achieve a good seal below my lower lip due to my beard (even though I've trimmed it very short), so I'm having a bad time with leaks. I've had the same issue with the other full face masks I've tried and was hoping this one would be the exception to the rule.

I'm curious what others' experiences have been and continue to be with both of these new masks and would appreciate any fitting tips!

Many thanks!

I am due for a new mask and interesting in trying to find a solution beyond my EasyLife. It's very comfortable and I could just swap out the headgear (Velcro has stopped holding), but I wear glasses and it would be nice to find a solution without the forehead support to open up my field a view. I had a ResMed mask that was very comfortable and had no forehead support (a Mirage FX I think it was), but it left blisters on my nose bridge.

I will be calling my DME to see if they have the N10 and if they don't, I'll order from CPAP.com. I'll report back with my thoughts on the mask.

Rsprods, I have thought of the Wisp as well. Haven't tried it yet, so going to try the N10 first. I know that even when I shave my beard I can barely get a seal on my FFM. Hope the N10 is working out for you.
Life before my CPAP was really no life at all!

I don't post often, but this one I want to weigh in on. I was a Fisher Paykel nasal pillow guy with mouth tape for the first couple of years of CPAP (autoset 7-15 range), but would still have problems with tape irritating my skin or leaking at the edges. Tried numerous FFM and Hybrids with much leakage. Finally scored with the Probasics Zzz small size (despite an average size face) which I went with for 1.5 year. When the F10 came out on cpap.com with the free return shipping, I tried it. I've returned numerous masks using cpap.com's return shipping option or their free return option on the more expensive masks. This one did not go back, nor will it. It is the single most comfortable and best-fitting (again, went with a small) FFM I've found. The only drawback is dry skin just below my lower lip, and am not sure why. May try a mask pad there.

I would strongly advise anyone wanting a FFM to go to cpap.com and try this, knowing that they have the return free shipping. I would recommend trying a couple of sizes. The major feature on this mask that I found key was the dang rim-sealing mechanism, which is the closest to a hovercraft rim I''ve found.
