I'm not sure about the BIPAP, but the other ResMed machines run off of 24V. The power supply itself runs off of 120VAC. It might be simplest to simply get an inverter that can handle about 150 Watts and power it off of a 12V battery.

12V battery -> Inverter -> ResMed Power Supply -> VPAP.

Figure maximum of 70 Watts x 8 hours = 560 Watt-Hours @ 12V = 46 amp hours not including the loss through the inverter. A motorcycle battery won't handle that. You need more power. A car battery would work.

ResMed makes the PowerStation which might work, but is expensive. http://www.resmed.com/uk/assets/documen ... ow_eng.pdf

[Edit: Oh my heck, forget I mentioned it. Crazy expensive: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... hines.html]

Strongly recommend getting the Resmed DC/DC converter instead of the inverter, it will save a lot of power. Also, 80% of the power goes to the humidifier. Without that, a 35 AH AGM battery should handle 2-3 nights,

refer to: http://www.resmed.com/assets/documents/ ... lo_eng.pdf

A 35AH AGM will weigh about 25 pounds, so its not exactly lightweight.
