I had no follow up either - I was told I would get my new hose and filter in 30 days at my request - but after 45 days, did not so called, and called - finally got it after threatening in a message to go somewhere else - they messed up my insurance as well - and I sent them a letter to straighten it out, and also cc'd my insurance and noted that I want itemized bills of EVERYTHING they are billing my insurance - so will see - I just recently started but if I see anything untoward, I am going after them - it is ridiculous and costing all of us so much for plain greediness~~

My experiences with my DME are set forth under "Frustrated in Oklahoma." Lincare expertise sucks.

My DME is (was?) Lincare, and during my first year using CPAP they were pretty good at responding to my questions and sending my monthly supplies.

Since the beginning of 2014, they've disappeared from the face of the earth as far as I'm concerned. No supplies, phone calls not returned, questions not answered.

Fortunately I was able to get my prescriptions so I can order my supplies online, but that means I can no longer use my insurance. I have no idea what happened. They haven't even billed me for my "rent to own" CPAP machine yet this year.

You have re opened an 8 year old post...there are many posts about Lincare if you use the "search" feature.

They sent a therapist to my house after I got home from work at around 6pm. She stayed well over an hour explaining every little thing for me.She even made me take everything apart and put it back together again to prove I was comfortable with what she had showed me.They called me that Friday to ask how I was doing.

The sleep doc that my primary doc sent me to called me herself the next Monday (not her staff, but her) to check on me. The DME sent me a followup letter at 2 weeks for me to fill out. Then they sent me a new card in the mail at a month with a postage paid envelope to mail mine back to them.I did that this past Monday and they called me today to tell me how it looked (Which was excellent by the way - went from an avegage of 78 apneas per hour to 1.4!!)

Then to cap it all off my primary doctors nurse called me 2 weeks ago just to check and see if I was doing okay with the machine and to make sure I was happy with both the sleep doctor and the dme.

I dunno why I'm seeing such a different result in every single area, maybe I'm just lucky. I dunno.

Or maybe everyone should just move to florida!
Yeah pretty much same here, they spent 2 hours at the house setting me up, called the next day then 2 days later to make sure I was doing ok. Brought me out 4 additional masks to try to get the best one for me. Called at 7 days to check and came with a laptop to analyze my data and explain it all to me, setup the software on my computer for me. Get an automated call every 14 days to see if I need anything, walks me thru supply orders and connects me with a RT if I need questions answered. I feel fortunate to have them with all the horror stories I've read here.
