new mask at half price?
I noticed on the hosts site that I could buy a head strap setup for the Aloha for $25.49 and my pillow for $19.99. Now that's only $45.48 for a new mask. Am I missing something or do we pay twice as much if we have to try all three pillows. Would we get the padding as well as the head strap? Why would anyone pay $84.00 for a new mask if they can just do this? I'm a size MD for the Swift FX, the Swift Air Fit and now the Aloha and I would guess I'm going to have the same size nose for the next 30 or so years if I'm still around and they haven't come up with a cure for this. Is this what all of you do or do you pay full price if you buy online?
Re: new mask at half price?
You are missing a critical piece to the mask setup....the short hose assembly.
So unless you already had that short hose from a past purchase...just buying the headgear and one nasal pillow for the Aloha wouldn't let you use it.

I don't see the short hose assembly being offered separately in the Aloha. Now the short hose assembly is offered separately in some of the other nasal pillow masks and it is possible to build your own complete mask with the spare parts but I haven't seen the Aloha short hose separately anywhere.

isn't there more to it than the strap and the pillows?naturalisbest wrote:I noticed on the hosts site that I could buy a head strap setup for the Aloha for $25.49 and my pillow for $19.99. Well, yes and no. Early on, I knew that my first mask (UMFF) was the one that worked the best for me. Through the years I've acquired a number of complete masks (bought from CPAP-dot-COM and from private individuals) but have also purchased a stockpile of headgear, cushions and other replacement parts......which is much more cost effective than to keep buying complete masks.naturalisbest wrote:I noticed on the hosts site that I could buy a head strap setup for the Aloha for $25.49 and my pillow for $19.99.
