Can anyone tell me why Sleephead shows VS when I wear my FFM and none when I wear my nasal mask?

Re: VS
Does it always do that or is this the first time you've noticed it? Look for trends, keeping track of whien you use FF or nasal mask. Maybe you don't snore when using nasal mask. Other than that, I can't think of anything to cause that situation. Maybe someone who knows will chime in.

Now using AirFit F10 mask; Quattro Air is backup mask. RemZzzz mask liners with both.
Re: VS
PR's tend to pick up any vibration and score it as a VS. I think with a full face mask there's probably a lot of leakage and "face farts" even if they are so small you don't hear or feel them, and those will be marked as VS. There's just so much surface area on a FF mask to have little leaks and issues.

Re: VS
because you snore more with your ffm than with your nasal, apparently.
I've read that some people end up with their jaw pushed back a little with a ffm, and that closes the airway a little more.

Re: VS
Even since I started using the Quattro I noticed the VS, prior to that, when using just the nasal mask I rarely saw any.library lady wrote:Does it always do that or is this the first time you've noticed it? OK, I didn't realize that a leak or face fart would register as a VS. I did wake up this morning to the mask leaking below my bottom lip.Janknitz wrote:PR's tend to pick up any vibration and score it as a VS. I would love to go back to just using my nasal mask but I can't seem to breathe with them on right now.
Funny thing - once I started PAP therapy my husband stopped snoring.

I believe you, I noticed that when I use a mouth guard with my FFM there are no VS.palerider wrote:because you snore more with your ffm than with your nasal, apparently.
