It took we a while (a few months) to get settled in. I tried a few routines until i found one that gave me a good 4-4 1/2 hours of good sleep each night. I have had the same mask for going on about 7 months now, give or take a week. So maybe I will just get a replacement mask of what I have and use that in conjunction with some sinus rinse. Maybe that will do the trick.

Numbers? When the machine was delivered to me the tech said not to touch it, that it was already pre-set with what it was supposed to do. So how do I get numbers. I remember when I had my 2nd study done that the woman who did it for me said something about a pressure reading of 11?

Once we see what type of machine you have we can determine if it is DATA capable. Meaning it takes an SD card and records your info. The info from the card can be downloaded to a computer which shows a lot of info. The info will tell if you are getting the full benefit from therapy.

Yes, sir, 7 months with the same mask. Just a few days ago it started feeling uncomfortable. Cushion is the word I was looking for. Yes, the cushion seems to be softer and looser and not feel right. Cushion it is! That, and Make sure I add my machine information to my profile when I get home tonight.

I am pretty new to this but I would imagine that if the cushion was going you'd have leaks. I'd still order another.

look on the back (if it's resmed) or on the bottom (if it's respironics) for a label with a 'REF' number on it, resmed machines usually have a clear model name by the power button, respironics machines names are confusing, but if you post the "REF" number in the comment section for equipment, we can figure it out for you

(be sure to take out the water tank, if you're using the humidifier, before turning the machine over.)

Most masks have replaceable silicone parts.
Cushions and pillows are much less expensive than the entire mask;
and it is not uncommon for one to only be the best it can be for a month or less;
although some can get months out of these parts.

some of the options on the list are broken, what do you actually have?

please to be more specific, what's the REF or model number off it's nameplate?

if it's an old s8, you'll likely need to put it in the comment field as opposed to the machine field.
