CPAP and beards

Can anyone tell me if there are any masks out there that provide a good seal on someone with a glorious beard such as myself?

My nasal mask fits well, but I sometimes like sleeping with a full face mask when my nose is stuffy, that one does not like to create a very good seal.

Yes, in the village of Husker Saturday gridlock.
We shop in the big O on those days.
Traffic is nice on I-80. Only heavy going the opposite direction!

nfrederick86, any reason you can't use a nasal pillow mask? I find them very useful, even with a cold. I use either the Aloha or the TapPap. I think I prefer the Aloha (slightly). I also have a FitLife mask - it is a total face mask, rather than a full face. It takes a bit of work to get it to the minimal leak stage - you have to have your beard the right length, and wash the beard well just before you put the mask on. Wearing glasses with it is not an option. My beard is similar to yours, but not red, and my face is much thinner, so I have more challenges in that direction. Good luck with finding the one that works for you. The Sleepweaver Anew looks good, but it is on the expensive side. The pillows are much more reasonable ... especially as I seem to be able to get them to last a long time!

I have found the Quattro FX full face mask to seal very well on my beard. Maybe not so glorious, but definitely there. The key thing for me to get used to, is that the mask has to be fit rather loose. When the air kicks in, it balloons the silicon and seals quite well. Occasionally, when I turn, I'll get a small leak. Just lift the mask, relax it, and it seals up nicely, again.

I can echo this remark. My machine came with not one but 3 large quattro fx masks... Even though I think I'd better fit a medium mask and a even with a moustach that connects to my beard I can get a good seal.

I've had decent luck with a Simplus which is used when I have nasal congestion, otherwise it's a Swift FX for me.

I would just like to let everyone know that the user nfredrick86, bought my CPAP, and paid for half.. and never paid for the other half. I don't know what to do about it other than to let everyone know not to deal with him or help him because he is a lying ass hole.

This is where I shipped it to. If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated. He hasn't paid the other half for the unit ($125) in a few months.
