I just found out I have sleep apnea. I an using the airfit N10 nasal mask. First time was last night and all day I have had this painful pin needle feeling under my nose on my upper lip where the mask was sitting. Can anyone explain or help?

You may need to use a fabric liner until your face gets used to it.
You may possibly have had it adjusted too tightly (a very common error);
the mask needs to be held lightly in place by the headgear while air pressure pulls the edge onto your skin.
One more thing--pins and needles anywhere near my nostrils or upper lip could be a recurrence of a cold sore.
If you have ever had this, you have just enough time to take valacyclovir to halt the flare-up.
