tomjax, if you are reading a thread, you'll see these words at the bottom of the page:
New Topic (and) Post Reply
Click "Post Reply" if you want what you write to appear in the thread itself - out in the open - as a reply for everyone to see. While you are writing your reply, and before you hit "Submit", look up at the top. You'll see the words: "Post a reply" and "Subject" with a blank white box. You don't have to fill in that subject box at all. Just write your reply, hit "Submit" down at the bottom, and it will be posted in the thread (the Topic) for all to see.
I sent you a PM a few minutes ago, explaining how to be sure a message goes to only one person, if that's what you intend to do. You should look up at the far upper right of this webpage occasionally, to see if you have a new message. If someone has sent you a PM, it will notify you up there. Click that box at upper right to get into the private messages area.

Pay no attention to what Wader wrote!

Just between you and me (and everyone else on this message board since I'm replying to this Topic - and getting way off the subject) any private messages here go through sleepnet first. Only after said PM passes Sandman's scrutiny, will the PM make its way back here. Of course maybe it will be lost forever in "dreamland". Or maybe it will go to Sandman's lawyer. Or maybe Sandman himself will post it on here for all to see!! LOL!Posts involving secret arrangements between you and Laura bypasses the forum and goes right to your spouses lawyer.
I had no problem getting the script from my RT at the DME. It is YOUR prescription. It asked for APAP machine, hose, mask, headgear, hose, heated humidifier, hose, all parts listed separately, even though they come together. She admitted I could get things like the mask, etc. cheaper online and that the insurance would pay for new mask every 6 months, new machine every 5 years, and I would need the script for that (the mask? she obviously doesn't read any of the forums).
This is basically like getting a copy of your eyeglass prescription when you've taken it to a optician for new glasses. The prescription is yours, not theiers.
