AirFit F10 (FFM) Fitting Guide Issue

Post by agribah » Fri Apr 25, 2014 10:03 pm

I recently ordered a new Resmed AirFit F10 mask, and when talking to my DME about the size to order, they suggested I use the same size as I had been using for my previous mask (the Quattro). So I went a head and ordered a medium, but later decided to look up the fitting guide for this new mask to reassure myself that I had bought the right size. I eventually found the fitting guide for the AirFit F10 in the product guide here: http://www.resmed.com/content/dam/resme ... sa_eng.pdf. My issue is that unlike other products with fitting guides, this one contains no ruler image to determine if you are printing at the proper proportions. Printing it at the default size, or even at the "100%" size in Adobe renders a guide that has me sized off the chart. (My head isn't that big... really.) Does anyone know the trick to getting the right proportions?

Contacted ResMed via their Contact page and submitted this question. I'll post any reply I get just in case someone else has this same inquiry.

Here's my brief dialogue with ResMed:

RE: Your sizing guide in the product guide for the new AirFit F10 mask has no ruler to assure the proper proportions. How can I print out a properly proportioned sizing guide?

Thank you for contacting ResMed. To clarify, the picture in the AirFit F10 product guide is showing tips only and is not the official fitting template. You may either contact your local medical equipment supplier for sizing options or in the near future we will have the fitting templates available on the website.

Hopefully this information is helpful.

Regards,

Cindy DeSimone
