Re: Two New Airfit Masks, F10 and N10
I've never tried the Wisp mask before so I cannot compare the N10 to that mask. But, the N10 is not a bad mask. In fact, it is fairly comfortable but not the most comfortable mask I've worn.
With these type masks, I usually have a problem of having a small amount of air blowing into my eyes. This mask does not do that. I did wake up and have to take a bathroom break and the magnets were pretty easy to use to take the mask off and then again to reapply it. If the magnets don't wear out like the Velcro does, that would be great.
The top strap works in much the same way as the P10 except you can loosen and tighten it with Velcro.
I normally utilize nasal pillows so having so many straps and the nose piece did feel a little bulkier than what I am used to.
Overall, it kept my AHI a touch below my norm at 3.3 and my leak rate was an acceptable 7.
I would like to utilize this mask for a few more nights before deciding if it joins TheWino nightly mask rotation.
Sleep well all,

I had never noticed before that when you're in "reply" mode, the equipment taglines disappear. I just thought agribah didn't have a tagline. Now I know to look at it before clicking reply

Re: Two New Airfit Masks, F10 and N10
F10 Just arrived. I've been a QFX user for two years. I love how the QFX has clips for on and off and have stayed away from ffm's which I thought were difficult to get in and out of . The F10 hook system works great for me. That issue is gone . Very light and easy on and off. I put the Qfx Pad-A-Cheek on it and it seems fine. Tried the F10 on with my 13.5 setting for 5 minutes and have zero complaints. Felt no leaks. I am excited about going to sleep tonight for the first time in a very long time. Would love to have this mask to have minimal leaks. Much more comfy than the QFX. My fingers are crosssed.

Glad to hear that your first impression is good! I didn't like the QFX, found it super leaky for me.
Keep us posted on how it goes!

Used the F10 last night and really liked it. Compared to the QFX, leaks and AHI were a little better--- Again only one night. Comfort and ease of use is much, much better. Used the QFX Pad-A-Cheek with no problem.Cokomo wrote:F10 Just arrived. I've been a QFX user for two years. Cokomo, that's great news! How does the size of the FX & the F10 cushions compare - did you get the same size?
PR System One APAP, 10cm
Activa nasal mask + mouth taping w/ 3M micropore tape + Pap-cap + PADACHEEK + Pur-sleep
Hosehead since 31 July 2007, yippie!

Re: Two New Airfit Masks, F10 and N10
The "New" Airfit F10?
Looks to me like the only thing new is the frame that holds the cushion. The F10 uses the Quattro Air cushion and the headgear looks a lot like that used for the Quattro FX.
What do you think?
Cocomo, how does the F10 headgear, just the strap part, compare to that of the FX?

I used the Quattro Air and could not tame the leaks. The marks on my face were minimal with the F10 and I can add padding to elliminate marks completely. Same size for all the masks, Large.

That's something, isn't it? According to CPAP.com, the cushions are the same.Cokomo wrote:I used the Quattro Air and could not tame the leaks. The marks on my face were minimal with the F10 and I can add padding to elliminate marks completely. Same size for all the masks, Large.
I meant to ask, do you think the straps for the QFX and F10 would be interchangeable?

Re: Two New Airfit Masks, F10 and N10
Night 2 with the F10. AHI still <1 . Leaks still low. Comfort is ok. Had an issue with the Pad-A-Cheek from the QFX---The hole around the hose disturbs the air venting --- creating noise. Removed hose and let the Pad-A-Cheek hang freely. When I awoke, I attached the F10 headgear (think it's awesome ) to QFX for a couple of minutes. It really felt good , maybe because I'm so used to it? Will use F10 headgear with the QFX tonight.
Re: Two New Airfit Masks, F10 and N10
I think Karen from Pad-a-Cheek had to do the liner differently for the Air (and presumably now the AirFit) because of that vent. I know she had a test version of it but no idea if it's final yet. You might want to contact her.Cokomo wrote:Night 2 with the F10. AHI still <1 . Leaks still low. Comfort is ok. I tried the Airfit F10 last night. Exact same issues as Quattro FX, Not sure if there are any tricks to try with it but I spent an hour chasing leaks, burps and popping noises. Even when it was quiet for 15 minutes, the breathing noise was still noticable.

Oh dear. I couldn't manage to use to the Quattro FX because of all the leaks. I was fine with the Quattro Air but I wish I could get one that doesn't have that forehead piece.lliann wrote:I tried the Airfit F10 last night.
