"THICK" AND "THIN" FILTERS

Post by DrMargi » Wed Apr 02, 2014 7:03 am

Hello all.I'm in my 2nd month of use.I am sort of used to the mask....I still have an issue with the head gear but it's less now.My question is the following...I want to order thick and thin filters for my device because the thick filter cost me 8$/piece.I made a quick search online both in greek and international sites and found lower prices, the thing is that I don't know if every cpap should use its own filters,I mean from a specific company....can you help me?if I order those from usa will they be compatible for it?thanks...please if you can,use large fonts for me...thanks again

Did you know you can increase the font size of letters using the forum main page? In the light blue box above look for "Bigger Font" and click on it multiple times to increase font size...but I will increase this just in case you can't find it. I don't know if it will enlarge the text enough depending on how visually impaired you are but worth a try.

Not sure exactly what filters you use with your machine as it is not a machine commonly used here in the US but often after market filters work on these cpap machines just as well as the name brand filters work.
So if a seller says it is compatible with your machine..then it most likely won't be a problem.
I wouldn't go trying a filter that was designed for a totally different brand of machine though.
If you could provide links to what you found that you wish to purchase we could offer more definite answers.
Does your machine use a foam filter (which is thicker) and then a white fine thin filter?
