Lines on Sleepyhead's Leak graph

I've been reading Pugsy's tutorials on Sleepyhead and Googled my question, but I'm still confused. Below is a screen shot of last night's Leak graph, which is pretty typical of the other 5 nights (I"m a noob). I understand the gold line means total leaks including something to do with the mask. What does the purple/maroon line mean? And which do I pay attention to? By the way, that spike was when I got up to go to the bathroom and removed my mask.

I'm not sure what info you all might need. My pressure is 6. Last night's AHI was 7.6. Rest of the week it was 3.4 to about 4.9. Last night was when I switched to my P&K Eson, which I prefer.

The purple line is SleepyHead's approximation of the unintentional leak rate. SleepyHead uses some statistical analysis to get this graph on PR machines.

And which do I pay attention to?

If you don't fully understand what the intentional leak rate built into your mask at your pressure is, then I'd suggest paying attention to the purple curve. You want to keep it close to 0.0. This leak line is a very good to excellent leak line by the way. Practically speaking, if that purple line is almost always less than about 30 L/min, then your leaks are really quite well controlled.

By the way, that spike was when I got up to go to the bathroom and removed my mask.

Nothing wrong with having a spike like this---particularly when you know exactly what caused it. Do you have Auto OFF turned on? If not, you might want to manually turn the machine OFF and then back ON when you wake up and need to take your mask off to go to the bathroom.

It might be useful for us to see the flow rate graph with the event flags on it. If the AHI doesn't settle down to where it is consistently below 5.0, it may be that you'll need to bump the pressure up just a bit. But I'd wait for a week or two before doing that to see if the AHI starts to settle down.

Thank you, RobySue. I really appreciate all the help I'm getting. I do have Auto Off turned on but it's not working. I'm going to read my manual on that subject AGAIN, push all the right buttons AGAIN, and if it still doesn't work call my DME. Auto On is working just fine.

My AHI is back down to 4.3 this morning so I think I just had a bad night, however, if it becomes a problem I'll post more info. LOVE SleepyHead! I prefer to be an educated patient.
