CPAP.com
Re: CPAP.com
No. You will get a proper bill containing the correct billing codes which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Before you go that route, check with your insurance company to see about their reimbursement schedule for supplies and whether or not they accept bills from on-line retailers. Some do, some don't.
Usually, they only pay for a new mask every 6 months, etc.

Re: CPAP.com
Guess I can't order nothing from CPAP.com then. I have no income. Thanks for the info.

Re: CPAP.com
You said you have insurance - call and ask them if they'll cover online purchases or not!
Re: CPAP.com
Yes I have insurance but to be honest with you I have no idea who to call or where to look for that number, it's all very confusing.

Re: CPAP.com
Kona there is a big difference between confusion and laziness. You obviously know how to use a computer... look it up or better still take a look at your insurance card there must be a phone number on there. You have 6 threads going on this mornings page, get on it and get to work yourself instead of relying on everyone else to do the work for you. All you have to do is use the search box at the top of the page, type in your question and if you don't get the answers you need THEN ask the good folks here.kona0197 wrote:Yes I have insurance but to be honest with you I have no idea who to call or where to look for that number, it's all very confusing.
Go for it Kona, you CAN do it!!!

Re: CPAP.com
You don't understand. My insurance card has many numbers listed and it's very vague. I would rather just have what I want ordered through my DME, thanks.

True, but if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen
kona - Since my original post. I've feel remorse and have decided to edit it. Accept my apology.
Cheap comment on my part. You asked a sensible question, and I made a lame arse comment.
Contact your DME. They deal with insurance companies day in and out. They should know what's a good number for you to call. Having credit cards can sometime lead to money management problems. I have em, but don't use unless it's a dire emergency. Cash only for me.
Who's your DME?

Re: CPAP.com
If you use a credit card to pay for purchases at cpap.com, and claim the expense to the insurance, in my experience the insurance money arrives well before the card payment due date. You are not out of pocket at any time.

Re: CPAP.com
I don't own any credit cards. And I'll look into this matter with my insurance. Maybe they do cover online purchases.
