Life Saver

I got to admit the mirage full face mask has made a drastic difference in my therapy and my well being. In the past week, I have slept over 4 hours each night with no problems and feel fully energized. I only have a little adjusting each night to minimize the air leaks then i'm off to sleep. It only took purchasing 3 masks and two chinstraps and arguing with my therapist to raise my pressure, but It all is worth it.... I guess I fit into both categories...I thought that the 740 was what I needed, being a mouth-breather, etc. Got it, used it, and determined to make it work for me. I ended up with the usual problems when something just WON'T work. Now, I'm at the opposite end of masks: the 'minimalist', the CL2 Simple Cushion is working best for me now, with minor leaks at times. I'm happy that there IS such a variety offered.

*WARNING* Getting up on soap box...

I love the UMFF mask too... but the company that makes it jacking up the price has me a little peeved. Maybe I'll buy a couple extra ones on July 31 so I can delay the pain of shoveling all that cash into ResMed's coffers...

*off soap box*

Truly- ResMed when it comes to good products can't be beat. Everything I have is ResMed and anything else I tried just didn't work for me. And the UMFF mask is the best ResMed item of them all. I wouldn't dream of sleeping without it. (pardon the pun, there)
