Pad-A-Cheek for Simplus?

Post by amybeth » Wed Feb 12, 2014 12:32 pm

I can't find a pad a cheek mask liner specifically made for the F&P Simplus. Is anyone out there using one on there simplus that is working well? If so, which one? I made a liner out of a t-shirt, but would like to order one of these if I can.

Thanks,
Amy

Simple suggestion; call Karen @ padacheek or send her an email. The mask is new so the liner may not have made it to her Web page yet. Karen answers email questions extremely fast.

thanks. I did actually do that first. She doesn't have a template for that mask yet so that's why I was wondering if someone was using one made for a different mask but was working good on the simplus.

Yeah that was me

I took my pad-a-cheek cover for my Mirage Quattro and only had to do a slight modification to make it work for the Simplus. All I did was take scissors and cut open the ends of the forehead pad on the pad-a-cheek so that I could run the forehead straps on the Simplus headgear all the way through the pad-a-cheek forehead pad so that the headgear could attach to the mask at the forehead. And in addition I trimmed a little fabric around the exhaust port holes at the point where the velcro attachment is on the pad-a-cheek to be sure I was not obstructing any of the exhaust port holes on the Simplus mask, and I have been using it now for several months with no problem on a medium size Simplus mask cushion. The masks are close enough in design that this works out ok until she makes a specific cover. Always be sure when you are doing this that you never block any of the exhaust port holes.....that is obviously the main concern.

They are available but you have to put in the comments that you wish to get one for the Simplus. I ordered my first one and got it in the mail yesterday and need help...

I thought I followed the instructions (I'm more of a visual person so I wish they had instructional videos instead of just written instructions) and can't get my simplus to stop leaking in the upper part of the mask. I tried making the liner loose and that was even worse. I did it so it was stretched out before putting it on my face and no go... the air just seems to leak and hit my eyes from the upper part of the liner. Any idea as to what I"m doing wrong ? this is the first mask liner I've ever tried, so I'm probably doing something wrong.

Aside from that I love that it includes the forehead padding!
