Yes, sir, sure have.
You know I was sick when I got it and didn't feel like messing with it until probably the middle of Jan...so I think Jan 14 was my first night....and you gotta love it...first night AHI 0.0 with a big smiley face in SleepyHead on the unstable version which I have been playing with.
I had no idea what pressures to use so I just set it for it's defaults and ran with it. Got really lucky.
I did finally change EPAP from 5 to 6 just because of air hunger issues..remember I was used to 10 EPAP with my Bipap.
I could probably do 5 now comfortable...I used 5 for 3 nights I think. Still got the first night 0.0 AHI with 5 EPAP
I can't say that I really notice anything different in how I feel during the day.
Adjustment to it was a piece of cake. I sleep about the same as I slept before...any sleep issues I might have are related to other problems.
I can see why Dr Krakow wants to put people who have trouble with cpap or bilevel on it...OMG it is so smooth and easy to breath with. I can use a much lower EPAP now and still keep the obstructives well prevented...and that means it feels like pretty much I am not even using a machine.
My highest pressure was close to 21...seems to go up and down a lot with some drastic changes ...like 6cm to 20cm in 10 seconds but I sleep right through each and every one of them.
Now I have 3 machines...so one needs to find a new home. More later on that when I decide which one and what to do.
So while I can't say I have experienced any miracles with the Adapt...the adjustment took all of one night and I guess I am one of those lucky ones. It's not like I was having issues anyway...I don't always feel so great during the day or sleep the best but that's totally because of issues not related to sleep apnea so I really didn't expect those issues to become non issues.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
