You have to upload your image to a server, like photobucket (first gig or 2 is free);
then copy and insert the IMG line into your text.

Oh, that's too bad that we can't upload pictures. Frankly, I'm rather illiterate when it comes to computers, so I'll probably have to wait till our daughter can help. By then I may either have figured out the darn thing, or gotten another.

Thanks everybody!

Sounds like it is more work than it really is...once you do it a couple of times it becomes easy

I think I'm going to have to get professional help. They've set my pressure at 8, which is for the full face mask. When I try this nasal thing, the pressure shoots through my nose like a tornado. Then I MUST open my mouth to expel it. Maybe I can't tolerate anything but the full face mask, 'though I hate it and haven't slept since I got it a week ago.

They didn't give me any training at all, and I've read and read and read, and still don't get it. I'm just so frustrated.

The pressure is more direct in a nasal pillow mask like that. You actually get used to it and yes you can actually breath out against it if you don't panic.

My pressure minimum is 15.5 and I use a swift fx mask. After five years it doesn't feel like anything anymore. I'm not making lite of your situation because I know how hard it can be to start out with cpap but I'm just trying to reassure you that if you stick with it you can adjust and get used to it.

The cpap hose sizes are standard. You should be able to use any mask with any machine so don't be worried. I'm sure somebody will be able to get you some help. There is probably just an adapter that got stuck in the end of a hose or something that is giving you trouble that you aren't seeing because you aren't familiar with the equipment yet.

If the ends of the hose coming out of your machine doesn't look like this you've got some adapter still stuck in there you need to get out so you can plug in the Swift FX.

When we were on a trip with a brother-in-law and his wife she discovered she hadn't brought her nose mask. I had an extra Swift FX mask I loaned her but she couldn't figure out how to hook it up to her Respronics machine. I checked it out and there was a hard plastic adapter in the mask end of her hose that was too small for the Swift hose connector. Pulled it out and the Swift connected to the PR hose properly.

Finally, it took Digital to send me a movie to show me how to work the hoses and masks. Thank you all for your efforts. Maybe some day down the road I will be able to help a newbie myself.
