Short story: I want to get all the data from my ResMed SD card into Sleepyhead. I can only see one month's worth. What am I doing wrong?
Long story: I bought an S9 in Dec of 2011 and kept lovely charts in both Sleepyhead and ResScan, only to find nobody cared anyway. My insurance company couldn't care less and the doc wants to do her own download and perusal. CPAP just works great for me and there was nothing to tweak so I quit messing with the card and software when my life got really crazy hectic. Now I have an error message on the machine and I need to get everything off this card so I can start over. I had to a new computer last year so I downloaded the newest version of Sleepyhead and imported data from my card, but it is only for one month. I don't know if there is a setting I haven't noticed to dump everything into the program or some other work around I can try. Help, please.
BTW, it's great to see Sleepyhead is alive and kickin', nay thriving. It is fast and fun and I wish I hadn't quit using it. Sigh.
Getting more than one month's data into Sleepyhead
Re: Getting more than one month's data into Sleepyhead
The 'problem' lies in ResMed.
ResMed machines keep only 30 days data on the SD card. To get more into SleepyHead, you have to download more frequently than once each month.
It will accumulate all you download.

Re: Getting more than one month's data into Sleepyhead
ResScan will pick up any of the old summary usage data over 30 days old that SleepyHead may have missed...so you might go ahead and use ResScan also.
The S9 machine routinely starts overwriting the detailed data at 30 days...oldest gets written over first.
Summary and usage data stays for a year but the detailed data gets written over.
AND there's some high def data that gets written over after 7 days. I can't remember exactly which graph it is.
SleepyHead sometimes will show no data for those nights over 30 days old...even though summary usage data is there and that's why I say go ahead and use ResScan.
So if you see SleepyHead saying "no data" for nights over 30 days old...it's because it is missing some needed files to even calculate usage.

Ah, thank you Pugsy. If I ever knew any of that I'd forgotten it. Alrighty, then, the dreaded ResScan it is.
Is this a good place to ask for a link to ResScan?

Re: Getting more than one month's data into Sleepyhead
Not long ago I wanted to get nine months worth of Sleepyhead data into ResScan 4.3... a similar proposition. Below is the thread I started. That plan got scraped when I changed my machine from a Resmed S9 Adapt to a PR autoSV Advanced - meaning that my conversion experiment went belly-up. Never the less, some of the advice below may still be good. I was hoping SH's creator, Mark, would eventually join in but he never made an appearance.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Thanks to you both, Pugsy and Sir Noddinoff. Mission accomplished, such as it was.
