tap pap mask

Post by Grambi » Sun Jan 26, 2014 11:23 pm

Does tap pap mask help keep you from breathing through your mouth? Had nasal only mask that i loved but mouth would open during sleep and would wake because of noise. I have a Mirage Liberty right now and the mouth piece leaks towards end of month before I can get a new one and makes sleeping a battle and my neck stiff because have to hold head in certain way so does not leak.

Sorry, no, there's nothing about the tap pap that keeps you from breathing through your mouth...although one never knows what the individual reaction to any given mask will be. If you're a mouth breather with nasal or nasal pillow masks, you most likely will also breath through your mouth with the tap pap.

I just returned my Tap Pap because I was mouth breathing too much. It's a great mask for comfort but mouth breathing ruined it for me.
