Not overly familiar with the M series but other models will write the summary data to the card when you put it back in.
So it is likely that the missin days will be recorded.

The Respironics M series machines use a Smart card for data collection and unfortunately it absolutely must be in the machine to get any data beyond the most basic summary data.
The M series machines simply don't store much in the machines' internal memory.
You won't have anything useful...hours of use...maybe AHI and leak overall averages but nothing with detail.

Now the new PR System One machines...they store a lot of data in the internal memory so it's not a total washout when those SD cards are left out...just put it back in and the machine puts everything but flow rate back on the card.

Since you mainly only wanted hours of use to satisfy compliance requirements....no worry, the machine stores that for a year.
