I just got an upgrade to a Resmed S9 Autoset. I've had a Respironics M Series Cpap with a pressure of 15.5 for the last five years. I set 15.4 as my minimum since I'm comfortable with that pressure and was pretty sure I needed it. I actually tried 15 the first night and had some pretty bad and long apneas so went up to 15.4 the second night. Look at these numbers. My pressure went as high as 18.08 for the night. My ahi was actually 0 last night which is the first time I've even seen that. My untreated AHI is really ridiculous. I can't remember the actual number but it is over a hundred. I don't have many hypopnea either. I'm either breathing or not. I had the test and looked at the results and it was one of those things where you did the math on the results and it turned out I wasn't breathing for several hours of the night.
Pressure graph for the night.
No Events last night.

you might want to go back and ask about a BiPap at those pressures, assuming your doctor upgraded you and you have insurance.

Is there any reason to look at BiPap when I tolerate what I have now with no trouble? I don't even have the exhalation relief turned up all the way. I have it on the lowest setting. As i mentioned. I'm pretty much used to the pressure at this point. It hasn't bothered me for years.

No reason to worry about changing machines if you are doing well with what you are using now.
The S9 acts like a bilevel of sorts with its EPR relief anyway and for some people that is plenty relief.
