Humidity Question for Nasal Pillow Users
Humidity Question for Nasal Pillow Users
Here I am with another question! I use the nasal pillows - lasted on the mask for one week! But I have a lot of trouble with nose stuffiness. That seems to be my biggest problem now. I found that my heated humidifier was set at 1 and changed it to 2, and am now doing a little better after changing it again to 3. Does anyone else use the RemStar with nasal pillows, and how high have you had to set your humidifier to ward off a stuffy nose?

Hi LindaKay,
I have used a Remstar with the heated humidifier and nasal pillows and 3 is as high as I ever turned mine up. I bet there are people here though, that have turned their Remstar Humdifier up farther than that.

Hi Lindakay,
Since my current issue is mouth leaks it occured to me that they may also be what is causing your stuffy nose. I have read that mouth breathing while on CPAP can result in flu like symptoms.
Check out the "mouth leaks" thread I started. rested gal has some very creative solutions you might try. I know I'm going to try them.
