You might try contacting the American Sleep Apnea Association's CPAP assistance program at http://www.sleepapnea.org/resources/cpa ... ogram.html

Did you ever receive the 2 FF masks I sent you along with some extras? Although my tracking info said you received the package you never replied to me and you never posted again for a long time. I've been rereading some of your earlier threads which all seem to be requests for equipment but never asking for help with them. Just wondering??

I hate it when people ask for things and all you ask for in return is a note that they got it and then they never reply. That is just rude. I never sent anything to this person but there have been many others that did that to me.

Yeah the program that I can not afford because I don't have an income. It would cost me 2500$ a year. I can't afford 100$ for the help program so the government program is not even possible.

If you don't have any income, perhaps Medicaid would be your answer.

Or, if you are old enough, maybe Medicare would be beneficial.

On another note, are you sure you are quoting correct figures? $2,500 seems like a lot with zero income for the Affordable Care Act. If the figure is correct, you may want to seriously contemplate Medicaid.

If you need to, please visit the American Sleep Apnea Association. They are a CPAP Assistance Program for people without the means to pay for a machine or insurance that covers CPAP. Here is their webpage: http://www.sleepapnea.org/resources/cpa ... ogram.html.

Best Wishes,

Yes that is the correct price for having zero income in my state, If I was able to work and make 9k a year I could get it for 250.00 a year, and I do not qualify for medicare in Tn witch they call Tenncare even with all my health conditions. I am going through the disability process currently, received both of my denial letters and have an attorney handling it now. The website you have listed sound great but I can not afford the 100$ donation.

I don't know exactly what you are looking at, and stuff about $2,500 or $100 for a 'help program' but if you actually have zero income, you should qualify for Medicaid or subsidies under the federal program. --- However, I see you are from Tennessee. I believe your governor has as of yet refused to expand Medicaid coverage to single individuals without children even if they have zero income. Is this accurate? So therefore you are stuck in that position, correct? I have searched for ten minutes online and I cannot even find your state's health exchange website. Just links to the TN department of insurance, and the states' official .gov site is undergoing maintenance and not responding. Perhaps I am incorrect, but boy it certainly shouldn't take jumping through hoops just to get basic info like this from a state. Almost like they don't want to publicize things to help people get some coverage.... But at least the state's website is posting that today all flags should fly at full staff, and also that today is National Milk Day. Maybe milk helps cure OSA? Maybe you should call your local state rep and explain how your governor's decision is hurting real people in your state, like yourself. And what can be done to help you.

Good luck!

@hyperplexis, yes that is correct, they had chosen not to participate in the program, and I have applied for medicaid and since I am not female or have a child, I do not qualify. When I had applied and actually went to the social worker she told me your going to get denied there are people who have cancer that can get benefits. The only way you will get it if your female or have a kid or are an illegal. those re the words from the social worker herself. the 2500 would be what the market place would cost me, the 100 would have been the donation to the osa website that helps people either way I can't afford it, thank you all for the input.

Hey Mikey... if you are still hanging around here....
check out this thread

I know you don't have any money but I can help out a little so that the person who has that machine can get a little for it....
