Heater light on Respironics one machine?

Post by Islandwoman » Sun Dec 22, 2013 2:59 pm

Hello, I am just a about 30 days into CPap. I have the Respironics one which came with a regular hose. I just switched to the heated hose and a new top on the humidifier. I was told by the provider that the wavy blue lines would turn to yellow and also read that online. My lines are still blue and wonder if that means something is not working.

Did you also switch to the 80W power supply? You can tell which one you have by reading the label on the underside of the power brick.

Did you also get the new power supply? The old one won't work..not enough power wattage.

Yes, They sent me a much larger power supply. It says 80Watts on the bottom but it is connected to an extension cord. Could that be that the problem?

I don't know about the extension cord but I have the heated hose and it should turn yellow if everything is working properly.
Remove the extension cord just to check to see if that will work...bring the machine into the kitchen or somewhere to test it.
Check all the connections..especially at the power brick. Something isn't working right for some reason.

Found the problem, took it apart and found the new internal connector wire had loosened a bit. Redid that and them manually changed hose size an heated hose to on. Yellow light now. Thank you so much at 70 this is a big life change but I now have more energy and feel very positive(and I wont have a cold nose!).
