Over the Thanksgiving holidays I flew with my brick of a CPAP machine slung over my shoulder. While in the TSA line an announcement was made to flag those traveling with breathing machine. The guy in front of me and I both raised our hands up as we were given a tray to put our machines in. I don't know what kind of machine he had, but compared to my Phillips Respironics, it was a huge difference. He did say that it was his "travel machine" while on business. I never considered having two cpaps, one was more than enough trouble. But his was so small and compact compared to my huge black suitcase. I got it in my head that I needed a smaller more portable cpap. Oddly, right after the holiday I started seeing marketing information on the HDM Z1. I was sold. Is it covered by my insurance? Do they let you have more than one? I have no idea, but it's arriving tomorrow. Only now anxiety has kicked in. Couple of questions I would like to throw out...
It's purchased. I understand that. Is it even worth submitted to my insurance company considering my Respironics was prescribed on 04/12/2013?
Does anyone else have this thing? I'm typically really good about researching items online, and I'm not finding any reviews out there which has me slightly worried.
Thanks for your time and help.

If you have an unusually good insurance plan; go for it.
The worst they can say is, "no".
If you travel for work, some employers may reimburse for travel-related expenses.
If you are self-employed, maybe you can itemize on your taxes?

This little machine is brand new so probably there are no reviews yet.
I looked at it too and may give in sometime and buy it!
