Bonjour All you Homeless and non-Homeless

Post by dotyj » Mon Nov 25, 2013 3:25 pm

Bonjour

Yes I have come to visit you good folks.

Edit: There seemed to be a miss understanding how I am able to use the internet; from my last post. I visit the local library which has computers and wifi. I guess something about a telephone may have been misunderstood. I am thinking I need to work on my English so as to be understood with clarity.

I have had the opportunity to try out the gifted CPAP machine and gifted periphery.

It works great

I have gone back to my original thread to catch up. Wow, it is a long thread. There is many thoughts to read there.

As for my situation, I am still homeless and a happy man. .

Been cold 10-20deg F at night here.. You can see the temps using this ->> http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/fin ... 01.1.99999

it says 25deg f for tonight. That is nice sleeping weather for me.

I think it was about 15deg F last night. I was buried in my blankets with a pillow over my head to help insulate.

Just an update for those that like to know. Two weeks ago I was released from hospital after another EP. All is great . Doctor put in a IVC filter that should help with the EP occurrences.
Wow I was afraid for myself with the procedure of installing the IVC.
I was awake the whole time; nurse put a tent over my head to absorb the blood from when the doctor cut into a large vein in my neck. Doctor used a local pain killing shot at the incision site. What I felt was just a pinch. It took about 3 minutes or so and I was on my back to my hospital room.

The doctor that installed the IVC says it will have to come out in about three months while other doctors tell me it is permanent. So, I have no certain notion if it stays or goes.

Well I get to live a few more days because I now have a new filter helping to keep clots from my lungs. I also must take the Rat poison Warfarin the rest of my days.

How many on this forum have IVC. And have any experiences to pass along to me.

Well I must go for now as I am bored with writing about myself.

Back to reading the forum for me.

Oh, I walked in the snow barefoot last night. Was everything I remember from last year.

Merci et paix

jos

I had one of those filters put in and it felt like a rat chewing a hole in my neck when it went in. I was told the same thing about removing it and then changing to say it would be permanent. I am on Xeralto. I was scared too. Part of the clot went into my right lung so I am on oxygen now but I am blessed to still be around.

I have long held an admiration for urban outdoorsmen like yourself.

It's too tough of a life for me, but best of luck to you.

Oh' gosh I like the reference to the "urban outdoorsmen". I will need to find a way to use that in the future.

Thank you (Merci).

Jos, I'm glad your appeals for a CPAP machine on CPAPtalk were successful and that you're reporting some good news about your therapy (in spite of all the vicious criticism you received). Good luck for the holidays.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
