That is interesting but it does not disclose anything about the deductables.
That only means the difference between being covered and being bankrupt depending on the answers and the circumstances.

A member sent me a PM saying McAfee wouldn't let her open the above site.

You can google it if you are interested. I just did and it came up immediately.

I heard about this site on the 6:00 news.

Sorry if I caused a problem for anyone.

McAfee has been known to be ultra conservative or strict in their security definitions.
I use AVG...didn't have a problem with it or Firefox and I have been to some sites that both would warn me about so and so...
So I don't think there is a problem with the above link. I think it is just McAfee's usual over zealous security.

According to a Whois search the site appears to be owned by one individual. It does look legit, but I didn't click on any of the buttons for plan details. All it gives you is very broad summary of what the premiums will be for plans available to you for you zip. Be very careful about going past that point. If it doesn't take you to the actual sign up websites, i.e., healthcare.gov or state sites, don't put in any personal information. It may be a phishing scam site.

According to what I saw on the news, this was started by three young men who realized they could accomplish this over a long weekend. It seems they are in business together but did this without charging a fee of any kind. The faces and the names of these men were shown on TV. They said they will continue to update the site and provide more information. I believe they are in California. I have no doubt this is legit.

Looks very simplistic to me. No ability to enter actual ages of self, spouse, and children. No ability to enter any pre-existing conditions (even if they must be covered, some things would surely influence the premium). No ability to determine whether any participant is a smoker. They do say that you need to contact the insurers, or healthcare.gov. As always, do your due diligence, folks, before trusting the information on this site.

BTW, I presume the premium is monthly?

Just do a Google search on "The Health Sherpa" and you'll see lots of links.

Why not read about the site before you "ass-u-me" anything?
