Used humidier water chamber o.k.?

I'm not generally a germ-o-phobe, but I'm about to sound like one:

I bought a used S9 Elite, and it came with the original humidifier chamber (tub?). Does it seem safe/healthy/reasonable to use that chamber? I washed it with warm soapy water when I got it. Any special cleaning that you'd likely do for it?

I did the exact same thing when I bought my used M series... gave it a good clean and it works like a charm, no health issues using it every day pastfor the 2+ years.
