Full Face Masks that won't bruise my nose?

Other than the sleepweaver anew, what else might fit work?

Here's a list of some FFM without any forehead supports:

Hybrid Full Face CPAP Mask with Nasal Pillows by InnoMed
Quattro FX Full Face CPAP Mask by Resmed
Mirage Liberty Full Face CPAP Mask with Nasal Pillows by Resmed
Zzz-Mask Full Face CPAP Mask by PMI Probasics
Zzz-Mask SG Full Face CPAP Mask by PMI Probasics
FullLife Full Face CPAP Mask by Philips Respironics
Sunset HCS Full Face CPAP Mask by SUNSET
Hans Rudolph 7600 Series V2 Full Face CPAP Mask by Hans Rudolph

The Hybrid Full Face CPAP Mask with Nasal Pillows by InnoMed and the Mirage Liberty Full Face CPAP Mask with Nasal Pillows by Resmed combine a nasal pillows interface with an oral mask and they have nothing touching the top of the nose at all. The rest of the masks combine a nasal mask with an oral mask, so the mask covers the entire nose and mouth. Hence the mask covers the top of the nose and they do tend to reach up towards the top of the nose. If you need nothing touching the part of your nose between your eyes, I'd suggest trying the Hybrid or the Mirage Liberty.

Quattro FX and RemZzzs liners works great for me but you might hate it
Best to get return insurance, just in case

I had that problem at first, but upon a co-worker's recommendation (who is a former DME employee), I bought this little Band-Aid brand Friction Block Stick. It's intended to prevent blisters on your feet, and looks like a miniature stick of deodorant. I used it for about a week (applying it to the affected area before I put on my mask) and haven't used it since. The red marks on my nose (assuming that's what you mean by "bruising") went away in a couple of days and I haven't had any since.

Oh mine was not just a red mark, it really was bruising my nose.

I would give serious consideration to the Quattro Air.

If it makes a difference, I am primarily a side sleeper.

Just curious about this Robysue...
Do people have more nose issues with masks with a forehead pad and why?

I had terrible bridge of nose issues using nasal masks and it wasn't till I switched to the Quattro that I solved these issues. Gotta say it took lots if fiddling to get it right though.

The correct mask and fit corrects most nose pressure problems, masks don't have to be so tight you wake up with your head looking like its got a waist line. Sometimes less is better. My problem with the "T" bar is the range of adjustment is too small. You need to pad the affected nose area so it can heal up. Jim

Not me -- generally it is far better and easier to make adjustments for pressure at the nose bridge with a mask with the forehead bar. The (old) Quattro has long been the gold standard in that respect. It has a very wide set of adjustments with its design.

The problem with the bar-type masks is simply they are bulkier and harder for side and stomach sleepers to deal with. Plus you cant wear glasses with them, unlike other designs.

Thanks Hyperlexis,
They are a little bulky and heavy and sag off to the side when side-sleeping. But that can all be compensated for.

To OP: fmj13
I've used the original Quattro for a year and a half with only occasional nasal bridge issues. Never bad enough to cause bruising...but occasionally I'll use moleskin or a bandaid on my nose bridge as extra padding. Not even once a month...
